I'd say "The Book That Inspired the Film The Imitation Game." is a blurb and shouldn't be used as a subtitle.
I removed "The Imitation Game" from the title, so it's now "Alan Turing: The Enigma". If other librarians disagree, feel free to add "The Book That Inspired the Film The Imitation Game". It looks odd to me, but maybe I'm wrong.
It's not for me to decide, since I don't have librarian status. But the publisher consistently presents that phrase as part of the title everywhere: the cover, the half title page, the full title page, the spine, and the web page for this edition of the book. It may not matter, but this is definitely a new edition, not a reissue with a different cover. A website maintained by the author (at http://www.turing.org.uk/book/) says as much. However, my main objection was to seeing "The Imitation Game" at the head of the title. I appreciate your help. Thank you!
Is "now a major motion picture" also on the title page? If it isn't, I'll add "The Book That Inspired the Film The Imitation Game" (grudgingly).:)

That makes it marketing and branding, not a subtitle.

I hope a librarian can fix this.
