Tami (tamicarvallo) | 6987 comments Hello, books must have a storyline or universe or characters in common to be a series. "Universe" means the setting. Some of the characters could encounter each other, or, some of the characters are the same in each book. A shared theme is not a series by Goodreads definition. Can you please tell us how this series meets the definition of a series by Goodreads standards?

Elena Kincaid (elenakincaid) | 28 comments Hi Tami,

This series is not just a shared theme. Both books are set in the same supernatural universe with the same rules And the main characters from the fist book also appear in the second book, with a continuity of what the characters are up to a year later. It was originally supposed to be a standalone, but now it's expanded. there will be a 3rd and possible 4th book in the series. I believe this meets the definition of a series.

Gina Griffin (ginagriffin) | 10 comments Please make "The Promised Bride" Book #3 in my series "The Highlander Brides". It is connected to the first two by the setting of Scotland, timeline and same characters appearing in all three books.
Thank you :-)

Done, but please next time start a new thread or continue in one of the threads you started, this thread is linked to a specific book by another author.
