Yesterday I had it and I only read like 5 pages all the day. It was depressing but fortunately it ended today I always go to quick funny cliche read to get over it

But I've fallen horribly far behind on it cos I just can't get into the reading zone, and it's been this way for the past couple of months :( I'm starting books and just not getting into em. Even next in fav series' aren't pulling me outta the slump. Sucks!

That is exactly like me. I am having that exact problem...
I haven't read as much as I use to. before I graduated I read about 100 books a year. but since graduating in 2012 I've been reading less and less. I just recently lost all of the books I had in a fire. I now only own 2
Mortal Instruments City Of Bones and Gone Girl.
I'm reading City of Bones and only on chapter 5. I don't have much time to read since I just gave birth to my son.
I miss reading like I use to :(
I feel like I can get in a reading slump after I need to finish a book that I found very boring. Then, I am essentially scarred for life and can't get back in the swing of things.
I've just come out of a month long slump! I literally read one book last month where I used to read ten or eleven! D: school and not feeling it really kicked my butt.

i have been trying to get back to reading my list i am reading but with work and everything it has been really hard and on my days off i just want to go on my phone and not read book but it has to be getting easier cause i have the urge to read but sometimes the urge goes away what can i do to read more and get the challenge started
I’m not sure if you’re still in a slump, but sometimes for me I just have to read a good book and then I’m out of my slump! Of course it’s never easy to find a book that fits precisely what you want...

I usually love fantasy, but I'm really loving contemporary right now.

I get the most reading done before bed.
