Gina knew intellectually that Max would not be coming to help her but her heart was hoping by some miracle he would. What was Max’s “breaking point” to go all in, rescue Gina and give her the commitment she needed? What made her take him back?

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1808 comments Fr me, Max believing that he had lost Gina forever was his breaking point. He always thought she would be there but when she wasn't he realized how much he loved her.

Gina loves Max and she is very forgiving.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I agree with Lauren. When Max realized that he had blown it and a life with Gina was not in his future, he needed to do anything and everything to get another chance.

Gina was happy for another chance with Max. She was delighted to give him another chance. She is a very forgiving woman.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments I agree also. Max believed that Gina was dead and had to recognize that he really loved her. When he found she was alive, nothing was going to stop him from getting her back.

Gina finally had her "Grand Gesture" because how much grander could she get that a man risking his life to rescue you?

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments Max thought he lost her once. He wasn't about to let that happen again.

I share Lauren’s perspective. You know how you can think someone is always out there and you can take them for granted, delay taking action? That’s where Max was until he believed he’d lost her. He wasn’t about to make that same mistake once he discovered she was still alive.
