((anywho--))
Poe felt the oxygen mask before he noticed it and seemed a bit confused.
((Just when they bring him down switch the oxygen mask out for a muzzle cuz this child is all bite no bark in a dim room--))

((Just when they bring him down switch the oxygen mask out for a muzzle cuz this child is all bite no bark in a dim room--))

The scientists (who I will probably never give names) carefully opened the cage door and switched out the oxygen mask for some thing new.
A muzzle.
Once they secured it they shut the door quickly.
((Btw it is a metal muzzle- like the kind they use to keep wolves from biting-))
Poe suddenly panicked at the feel of the cold metal covering his mouth and curled up into a ball.

The scientists glanced at each other nervously, but went back to what they were doing.
((poor Poe..... :( I feel so bad for him..))

One of the scientists, who was still able to think rationally, pressed the large red button next to her desk and activated Poe's shock collar to knock him out.

The crystals had shattered the minute Poe screeched.
But...
((all of his vitals go also to stopping >:3))
But...
((all of his vitals go also to stopping >:3))

Now there was full blown panic again.
The scientists called for a doctor and quickly pulled Poe out of the cage, though they didn't remove the shock collar. The doctor rushed into the room and examined his patient.

Ha!
Like I'd let that happen.
Not on my watch))
Quick as a wink the doctor began administering CPR and grabbed an oxygen mask from one of the tables.
A nurse ran in carrying a defibrillator.

WELL-
then things are getting more screwed by the minute ;-;))
The doctor whispered some comforting words and continued trying to help the boy regain stability in his breathing. The nurse stood next to him on standby in case they needed to restart his heart.
((M- no>:3))
Even though the doctor was trying, it went the opposite direction he had wanted it go, simply worsening.

Oh-
Oh ho ho.....hehehehehe...))
The doctor was panicking, the scientists were panicking, Book was panicking, EVERYONE WAS PANICKING.
Except for one scientist who had a brilliant idea.
He ran to a secret safe, put in the combination, and pulled out a small bottle labeled demon tears.
They surprisingly had healing powers and were very rare.
((TAKE THAT!))
((...
the one problem-
they don't work on their own species.
HAHAHA
NOW LET ME HAVE MY LORE, AGNST, AND TRAUMA >:3))

AMAOSJWIXHQKJSNLAJSKALXNAKAM!!!!
Well you won't HAVE lore, angst, and trauma IF HE'S DEAD-))

Everyone in the room breathed a sigh of relief. The doctor continued what he was doing as it seemed to be working.
((So, do I have them send him to a hospital or-))

The doctor decided that they needed to move Poe to a hospital to make sure he stayed in a stable condition. The scientists agreed, but only as long as the shock collar was kept on him. The arrangements were made and Poe was sent to the hospital in the back of an ambulance.

THAT HURT SO MUCH-
CRAP I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO CRY-
What the HECK happened to my leg just now!?!?!?!?
The muscle got all tight and weird and I couldn't move it and IT HURT SO FREAKING MUCH!!!!!!!!!
MMMMMM....I WANTED TO USE SOME WORDS-
It stopped hurting, but now I'm scared to move my leg in case it tightens up again....))

Because I've NEVER had this before....I've had pain from growth spurts but nothing like that-))
((Nvm i just looked it up: Spasticity is a condition in which muscles stiffen or tighten, preventing normal fluid movement. The muscles remain contracted and resist being stretched, thus affecting movement, speech and gait.))

OH-
I guess that's what happened))
((I just got more info: Spasticity
Spasticity is a symptom and characteristic of certain neurological conditions. It causes certain muscles to contract all at once. It ranges in severity and can affect movement and speech. There are several treatment options for spasticity, including physical therapy, medication and botulinum toxin injections.
Spasticity is a disruption in muscle movement patterns that causes certain muscles to contract all at once when you try to move or even at rest. The muscles remain contracted and resist being stretched. It interferes with movement and can also affect your speech and gait (walk).
Spasticity can vary greatly in how it affects someone — it may be as mild as the feeling of tightness of your muscles or may be so severe that it causes painful, uncontrollable stiffness and spasms of your extremities.
Spasticity can involve the following:
Increased muscle tone (hypertonia).
Muscle spasms (quick and/or sustained involuntary muscle contractions).
Clonus (series of fast involuntary muscle contractions that may feel like a tremor, most often experienced in your ankles).
Involuntary crossing of your legs.
Pain or discomfort.
Abnormal posture.
Contracture (permanent contraction of the muscle and tendon due to severe lasting stiffness and spasms).
Muscle, joint and/or bone deformities.
Difficulty performing daily activities, and difficulty for others to help with activities such as dressing and bathing.
Sleep disruption due to, for example, painful spasms or muscle tightness.
Muscle movements are normally controlled by a complex system that allows some of your muscles to contract (tighten) while others relax. Damage to nerves in your central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) can disrupt this pattern. As a result, many muscles may contract all at once (sometimes called co-contraction), which makes it difficult to perform voluntary movement.

I mean-
I think I'm good-
I can move my leg again and it doesn't hurt..
I think I'm okay-
Thanks for looking all this up Poe! <3))
