Flaws

I'm enjoying this and about halfway through.
I just don't like the flawed logic of the characters a lot of the times. He's SO into this woman that when confronted with this skank who drop kicked him in the gut in public, in front of the media and in full view of the love of his life....he embraces her with open arms? I mean, why the hell does he care about the world knowing he can't stand her? She publicly humiliated him. smh
