Please help me find this book title

I read this book as a teenager but don't remember the title or the author.
I remember to the hero was in the heroine home to sigh a deal but the father of the heroine added her to the deal, which she agreed cause she is shy and timid, they got married and left to leave in the hero house who has 6 or so orphan all boys he is looking after in another place without the heroine knowing until she found receipt of clothes in his jacket and followed him.
I also remember the hero was taunted by the daughter of a family he was working for before he became rich
