Justine B. | 9 comments Hello,
This edition of The Brothers Karamazov (ISBN 9782253067078) has 1220 pages and not 920 as indicated.
Can you make the correction?
Thanks in advance.

Sanna ☆ (sannaska) | 349 comments Hi Justine,

at WorldCat it says 1219 pages. Can you tell what is on the page 1220?

Justine B. | 9 comments Hi Sanna, WorldCat is right in a way, last page number inscribed on paper is 1219 but the table of contents ends on the back of page 1219 which is why I said 1220 pages.

Sanna ☆ (sannaska) | 349 comments ok!
Hopefully I don't make a big mistake by fixing it to 1220.

Please add (Done) or (Completed) to your thread's title as your request has been completed.

Often books don't have a page count number printed on the last page. Worldcat doesn't include that page, they look at the printed number. GR looks at the content of the page to determine if it should be included in the page count, doesn't matter if there is an actual page number printed on that page.
When there is a 1 page difference between a user with the book and Worldcat, this is almost always the explanation.

So when the table of contents ends the book/is on the last page we do count it - or do we? I did in this matter and was not 100% sure I did it right.

Yes, we do. All content belonging to the book itself, such as the ToC, is counted on Goodreads. An index, bibliography, About the Author, etc. would also be counted.

Only things not counted are blank pages right at the end, adverts and previews for other books.
