"Advanced" does not mean "long characters." So you should fill out the information below. You may format it however you wish, but keep things brief and try not to add too much extraneous information.

Full Name:
(since this is a Russian-inspired setting, at least the last name should reflect that)
Age:
Gender: (I mean, if it's obvious you don't have to say)
Position: (if key player)
Appearance:
Description: (keep it relatively short)

Enemy of the state? Now, that's a bit of an exaggeration. You see, it's not like
Konstantin is out for blood. 'Cause hey. It's not like he minds having a voice in
his government. That's pretty cool, actually. But the only thing is... because of
the New Regime, his parents are dead. They were killed -- brutally -- before his
own eyes. Such was the horror of the three years following Irinushka III's
coronation. If it weren't for those rebels who started the revolt at the
coronation... he'd still have his parents. He wouldn't have been raised in an
orphanage. He'd be someone, have a future, maybe.

He didn't seek out the Loyalists; they found him. And, Konstantin found, they
could be very convincing. It wasn't his plan to spy on the New Regime. But they
offered him a roof to live under, a salary -- things that he couldn't find on his
own. He didn't want to do it. But the New Regime -- they owe him. They do.
They ruined his life; now it's his turn to ruin theirs.

(Name:) Nikolai Boris Zolotov
(Age:) Twenty-Two
(Position:) Loyalist Spy

Nikolai is the press's dream come true. With charm and whit on his side, it's always fun with this one. He never misses a chance to fluster someone, why would he? The boy basically know's he's attractive and everyone always loves to look. But he's a good guy that never misses a chance for a laugh. He might never miss a chance for a tease but he'll also never miss out the chance to cause a some trouble. This one likes to test limits, see how far a joke can go. Especially when he's with Ana, those two are troublemakers. But being raised as an only child, Nikolai has a protective streak in him for the people he's come to care about. He's passionate about what he believes in and in this case, he believes that neither monarchy nor the democracy party in power are right. Both are filled with corruption but in the end, his reasoning for having become a spy goes down to his own personal agenda. The boy's smart, no doubt about that, and no one will manage to get out what he's really doing from him.

            twenty-one & commoner ( fish-monger's daughter ) & loyalist
" said you've been to the sky — Vera has always been a bit of a dreamer, but her ties will remain loyal to the great families of old. She grew up with stories of them being told to her like stolen memories, so sweet and yet so dangerous to hold close. It was that which drew her to be a loyalist; the dream of her father's old country. That, and the hope that things will get better for she and her fiance, Ivan.

Her past is not littered with sorrows, but life could be better. She's grown mighty tired of having to haul fish to and fro, bartering at the top of her lungs. She may be on her way to marrying out of it all, but that doesn't mean things will be better with the current government. Which is why she's convinced her husband-to-be that they should join the loyalists. — you'll learn to love how to dream "

× × × female × 28 × bisexual × co-leader of the Loyalists × evelyne brochu
She was seven when the New Regime overtook the monarchy and Izvestnost descended into chaos, revolutionaries and conservatives fighting and dying in the streets. There was blood on the doorstep to her home, and it was never safe to go even as far as the bakery down the street. She was nine when she came home, a meager loaf of bread and a tiny pouch of sugar from the black market in her hands, and found her home on fire, her older brother motionless in the street with a dent in his forehead, her mother screaming run Katenka run as a bullet tore through her chest, three soldiers in blood splattered uniforms of the New Regime walking away from the burning house, laughing. Laughing. The bastards. One day, she was going to tear them apart, just like they had torn her life apart like it was a game.

Years passed in a blur. Countless hours in an orphanage, then recruited by the then small and loosely-organized Loyalist party as a spy because of her quick wits and innocent looks. Katya was good, too good for the provinces, so they stationed her in Slava. Five years in the capital, training, spying, listening, lying, playing the game. Then they sent Alexei. Placed together in a simple mission, their common goal and ambition caused them to work together past that one week to organize the Loyalists. She rose to power, from simple follower to spy to officer, and finally, to co-leader, one of the two most powerful members of the Loyalist party, Alex the other leader.

No one knows the real Katya. Everyone thinks they know her - that's what she tries for - but she only ever shows the piece of herself that she wants to show. She's an actress, the real-life kind. Katya's not perfect, but she makes everyone believe she is. She's charismatic and pretty, she knows how to talk to people. And she's passionate. She believes in the Loyalist cause like she believes in nothing else - there is nothing else left for her to believe in. She is driven by her loss, sometimes blinded by her quick and sudden anger and her well-nursed grief. Katya is extremely intelligent, quick witted, and a brilliant strategist, otherwise she would not be at the rank she is now. Her devotion and tenacity have raised her high. Unlike many Loyalists, she is not necessarily loyal to the royal family, but rather to the idea of a monarchy, but it doesn't matter - she will do anything to see Irinushka reclaim the throne.

•| ALEXEI IOANN RACHMANINOFF |•
"loyalist co-leader"
[ I'm not here to start a revolution. I can thank the Republic for doing that for me. Twenty -Eight ]
Twenty-one years ago, Valentin and Alexei hiked to the top of a "mountain" (a small hill, in actuality) and felt like gods gazing down at ants. When the sun set and the sky turned blood red, Valentin looked at Alexei with his impish smile and stated, quite proudly, my sister's going to rule all of this someday. Alex replied with a raise of his eyebrows, and what about you?

I'm going to protect my sister. And you're going to, as well.
Says who?
Says me, and I'm your prince, so you better listen.

That evening, both boys looked up at the stars and both took silent vows. One boy swore that his sister would never come to harm under his watch. The other swore that he would protect the boy that lay gazing up at the stars beside him. They both failed. Two weeks later, the bloodbath occurred. Irinushka disappeared. Valentin was taken captive. Alexei sobbed and muffled his screams on a stranger's jacket as his father was stoned in the town square and the people jeered and cheered, watching the man of 6 foot 4 turn to nothing but the cracking of bones and the gushing of blood.

His failure catalyzed his ambition. It catalyzed his charisma, his will to learn, his will to spy, his will to lead, to prove himself worthy. He is brilliant, schooled in academic, diplomatic, social, and physical constructs. Blessed with his father's stamina and speed, his mother's intelligence and diplomacy, and something else altogether. As he rose up in the ranks and the stakes grew higher, he only seemed to grow stronger.

Loyalists compare him to a god. They look at him and they find hope in his confident gaze and the determined set of his jawline. They do not notice the anger and grief still set in his eyes, sunken ships which lay at the bottom of his heart. They dismiss the face that has seemingly forgotten how to laugh and seldom smiles. Behind his ego, his courage, his brilliant mind, his biceps, the boy is governed by fear and doubt, like them all. Fear that he will look into the eyes of his former friend and see the failure written all over the other boy's eyes. Doubt of his worth, a worth that cannot truly be proven until he can hike to the top of the hill once more to tell the stars that he kept his promise.
