Hey everyone,
Hope your February is going well, I know we're all sick of the snow and the cold, but at least it's given us ample reading time :D

Here are the winners for the March Books of the Month:

YA: The Perks of Being a Wallflower
Classic: The Secret Garden
Award Winner: Landline
Made-Into-a-Movie: The Princess Bride

Looks like a good month!
Have fun!!!

Melissa ♥ Dog/Wolf Lover ♥ Martin I'm going to get the secret garden too. They have it for a couple of bucks on Amazon. Have a good price on wallflower used too :-)

I love getting books used or at my local thrift store!

Melissa ♥ Dog/Wolf Lover ♥ Martin I know! It's my favorite thing! You can get a ton for the price of two new ones. We have a huge used book and DVD store down from the house. I go there as much as my medical issues allow. Let me just say they are packed from the time they open until the time they close every day! I trade in my grandmothers books and get more and used blu rays. If I won the lottery I could just buy the store :-)

Katy H (the_other_katy) | 223 comments Is it okay to join in on a book's discussion I you've only seen the movie? I haven't read The Perks of Being a Wallflower or The Princess Bride but I've seen both movies.

I used to get used books from Amazon, but I started getting sick from library books. I think I might have a paper mite allergy but because of my immune system, I can't have any allergy testing done. It seems I'm allergic to nearly everything (including myself! LMBO) The only used book store of which I've ever been aware in my area is called The Book Cellar because it's a used book store in what is essentially a cellar and the proprietors are evidently somewhat droll. It's not dissimilar from the setup of the bar from Cheers, actually. Only with a lot more books and a lot less alcohol...I think.

Ummm if you want to wait till the end of the month to do movie discussion or at the very least put spoilers up for it.. I'd be okay with that. Just so you know... Princess Bride is VERY different book vs. movie!

I'll definitely use spoiler tags, but I guess I need to read The Princess Bride then! I was fairly apathetic towards The Perks of Being a Wallflower, but I did only see the movie...I remember LOVING The Secret Garden when I was a kid!

Melissa ♥ Dog/Wolf Lover ♥ Martin I'm so glad I was able to get a used copy of wallflower and secret garden to read with the group :-)

Melissa ♥ Dog/Wolf Lover ♥ Martin I'm going to start secret garden in a few days I hope. I won't be able to do the princess bride since I'm doing an author book next and princess bride will have to wait. They are both on my kindle unlimited :-/. I'm going to have to save up for a nook too

Kelly Batten | 1 comments OOO I love this collection of titles! Rainbow Rowell is like one of my FAVE authors, but I've yet to read Landline =) I haven't read The Secret Garden in donkey's years, but now's a good time to revisit it! And the other two.. I've never actually considered reading them, so this is cool! XD happy reading everyone!
