Looking for a specifically themed book

I was wondering if any of you know a book in which one of the main protagonists genuinely does not know what love is and the other person shows, lets them know and feel what love actually is (or 'teaches' them, if that makes sense)

I got one of my friends to read a book series (and plan on getting him to read more) BUT all the series that I've read usually have female protagonists, and if ya'll have any book recs (like Dystopian, Fantasy, Contemporary) with male protagonists, that'd be great :D
