Welcome to October's Challenge!

Challenge: focus on reading books you already own.

If you’re like me, you always have good intentions to read the books you physically own, but somehow the call of those time-sensitive library holds always seem to take priority. Here’s your chance to focus solely on your physical TBR and ignore everything else for just a few weeks.

Feel free to create you’re own thread in this folder to track the monthly challenges, then comment here to tell us what you’re reading.

Tammie | 5949 comments Is this supposed to only be books on my real book shelf or does it include Kindle books that I own?

The original vision was physical reads but kindle books can totally count if you want them too.

Ok, I'll keep it at physical reads. We did have the one to clean out the ereaders already, so that makes sense.

Tonari no Emily (emlfem) | 5115 comments I'm so bad with physical books lately ><

I'll be happy if I can start even one of these

In Other Lands
Noor
We Light Up the Sky

message 10: by Fray (new)

Fray MK (kris0mk) | 4 comments I made a jar with all the titles I have, colored the pieces of paper by genre and I'll probably not stick to it but I'm trying.

I want to finish throne of glass
The last graduate (to join in on the group read)
The golden enclaves
Murder on the orient express

I'm overestimating my ability here

Same! I have only a few scattered volumes that I have varying degrees of hope for...

The Deep - I WILL try to get to this one! I didn't for standalone challenge last month, but it's a novella, so my best bet for this challenge
The Starlit Wood - a collection of short stories, which I only pick up in certain moods, but has a bunch of authors I like, and this one was one that was hidden away that I had forgotten about, so a good bet too!
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo - a gift, and I'm not usually a fan of contemporary lit, but it has to be popular for a reason? Maaybe.
Akata Warrior and Akata Woman - I was super excited to go to an event with Nnedi Okorafor, loved her talk, and got her books, but after the first, wasn't especially compelled to continue the YA series, not likely to happen this month with other BRs on my plate

Saar The Book owl | 3095 comments I've finished these ones:
Doe en denk als Harry Potter: there's no English translation, but basically the characters of the books get analysed with hints and tricks how you can act like them. Topics like bravery, friendship,...It's a sort of selfhelp book.
The Scorpio Races
Four Boots-One Journey: A Story of Survival, Awareness & Rejuvenation on The John Muir Trail
Pet Sematary
