As Ellen Dupre prepares the drone for the next day’s presentation, her husband Marc visits her in the van and begs for reconcilement and her to consider selling the company to a former lover and competitor. Having known nothing about these two beforehand, what were your first impressions of both?

Robin (robinmy) | 2478 comments I was a little suspicious of Marc. He acted like he still loved Ellen and wanted to get back together with her. He thought they could have a second chance if she wasn't so busy with her company. He thought selling out would be the answer to his prayers. I worried that she would say "no" to selling the company and he could be behind the attack. I just didn't think he would want her hurt as badly as she was.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2993 comments I thought there were a lot of unresolved issues between these two. Like Robin, I was a little leery of Marc. I had my suspicions that his motives weren't all that pure in wanting her to sell the company and give them another chance as a couple.

I went back and forth with this guy but remained suspicious until Sean came up with a different resolution. Not knowing anything about either Ellen or Marc, I could only take them at face value. He sounded a little desperate and I couldn’t figure out if he needed the sale for reasons other than what he stated.
