It’s been a month since Sean’s ordeal at the hands of Paxton and Houston law enforcement and he’s far from over it mentally. Were you expecting him to be in better shape or was he where you thought he might be emotionally? Was his distancing from Lucy something you anticipated?

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments I was kind of surprised that Sean was this far off-kilter a month after being arrested, then kidnapped. Lucy was giving him time to open up to her and it wasn't happening. She's not the type of person who will wait indefinitely. I thought she'd have confronted him by this point.

Paxton did a great job at making Sean question his worth. He was convinced he would end up hurting Lucy. Therefore, I wasn't surprised that he was putting distance between himself and Lucy.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2973 comments I wasn't surprised that Sean was still having problems. What happened to him affected him deeply. Paxton got in his head and made him believe that Sean was toxic to the women in his life.

I wasn't too surprised that he was distancing himself from Lucy. I was sad, but Sean was in a really bad place.

I wasn’t surprised either. Sean was rendered helpless in every way and those in law enforcement that should have given him the benefit of the doubt didn’t. Then Paxton exacerbated his insecurities about being worthy of Lucy. It was a lot to recover from. I had a feeling he wouldn’t recover quickly. But, I didn’t think he’d turn away from Lucy.

He definitely was in a bad place.
