Finished Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell for my first S. What an amazing book. Took a lot longer than most books I read but really worth it. I also finished Far From the Madding Crowd and it was so much better than the book I had already read for "M" so I changed it.

Just completed my "A" selection - The Art of Baking Blind by Sarah Vaughan. To be perfectly clear, I read an advanced reader's copy, so if issues were fixed in editing, my comments might not apply. I really enjoyed this book and the characters! However, the book seemed disjointed which could easily be fixed by adding some headings and transitional phrases. Overall, worth reading! 3.5 stars
