The awards list isn't made as a list as such - the awards are added to each book by a librarian (or staff) Some awards are curated by a librarian, but this isn't the case with this award.
To check this will be quite a project.
Could you give some examples where you think the award has been added incorrectly (preferably also linking to the book on Goodreads) & I will take a look. It won't be today though as I am going out. :)
As the OP hasn't been back & some of the entries date back to 1975 I will withdraw from this.Another volunteer librarian may be prepared to take this on as a project. :)
I don't know who made this list, but just from glancing at a few on the last page, it's clear they didn't really pay attention when they made it. Some of these books are not listed at all under the award.
