Chapter 17: (view spoiler)[ All the Seasons and Rhythm type stuff reminds me of the Faerie courts. Although I still find the world a bit confusing the book is pretty good. Right now it's a solid 3 or 3.5 but that might change because I doubt the real action has started yet. I think that our main character will find and gain power from the female conduit because she's female and speacial in someway like hidden royalty. Thenathers will ether get jelous and try to kill her or use her. If not its because he dies. Thats my guess.

I like that Miria has a fighting spirit of determination.

I really like her personality of wanting to go and do things instead of just sitting around because that's not who she is. I also like the easy banter between Mather and her as well as the fact he covered for her and pretended a sprained ankle. (hide spoiler)]

Like come on... an't anyone be straight-forward? Like I get that Meira is considered less than Mather because he's ''royalty''... but it's love.. It just annoyed e so much. And then the whole love tringle thing happened and I was just so pissed.

Does anyone have the feeling that a big twist will happen, and Mathers is hidng something huge about Meira? I mean why does she have magic? Maybe she's like related or something, and that's why Mathers is staying away romantically cause he found out from Sir.

I was enjoying the story so far. The first chapter pulled me in. Meira is a likable character. She is tough and determined to do what's right. She does go overboard though and overreacts.
