Name the Book

[Samantha]

This book starts out with a ship being captured by a pirate. The damsel catches his eye but she has a sick mother on board to so she stays with him to keep her mother safe. The pirate ends up letting the woman and her go in a small boat where she has to row them to shore safely. Mom eventually dies in a brothel and the damsel runs into the pirate afterwards and they start to fall in love. She is kidnapped by his enemy and he has to go save her.

I have been search for this book for a while, any help would be appreciated.
