Fall 22 Readathon: Team Apple

It's the final day (at least for me!) and I'm hoping to finish one more book. Our focus is definitely on acorns, so any pages read/minutes listened to will be great.

Final day for me too - and as I really want to finish 4 books for the individual challenge I'm trying my best to finish one today. I spent half an hour last night trying to find a short book over 100 pages but ended up choosing on that's 265 pages! I read quite a bit last night (that's my exciting Saturday night) so am halfway through so am determined to get it done by midnight tonight! Have a few things on so will have to squeeze it in!

I've just added my reading for Saturday. This is 9am on Sunday for me just now, so it'll probably be this time tomorrow before I can enter my reading for the final day (as I normally do some reading in bed at night).

Looks like we still need another 9 acorns so whatever reading/listening we can all do will work towards these.

It’s 11pm for me now Sunday night and I’ve just finished my book. Yay!!
I’ll come back in the morning on my laptop to add the pages in.

Saturday was a zero for me but...my daughter had her offer accepted on her flat as an extra birthday present. Sunday will be whatever I can mange this evening. I’ve started Book Lovers which I think should be a relatively speedy read.

I didn't manage to finish my last book, but I put in a lot of audio hours. Had my earbud in while playing "salon" with my 4 year old for 2 hours. I still have playdoh in my hair but hopefully it was worth it for those acorns :D

I must admit I somewhat lost the desire for reading over this last weekend, but realised it was because I had actually steamed through 8 books, 4 of which were audiobooks, and 6 of which were non-fiction - not my usual pattern at all! Anyway, thanks everyone for a great week and happy (more relaxed) reading for the rest of the year

Sorry I didn't really read much the last few days, except to my kids. I added the pages I read but I'm far from finishing anything else.

Sorry I'm late to update. I managed 170 pages of Book Lovers and then fell asleep right in the middle of a steamy bit. Tantalisingly close to another acorn but not quite there.
