For the **You can get 10 bonus points if you read a book that is tagged family AND is from the Halloween list.**...It says you can only count 1 book per task... so would we need to find 2 books that meet this bonus, or is this an exception?

Correct, one book per task. However, you can get 10 bonus points if your book also is tagged family and on the Halloween list. The bonus points aren't a task.
Probably a stupid question but what does MPG stand for?
I also struggle with MPG, and I still don't know where to find the tags! :-P

Main page genre. So you will see them in the books page.

I guess it depends on what page view you have: beta or the original one. I’m not near my computer at the moment but when I am I’ll give you examples.

Since I don't have the new beta version, I can't really tell you where to look. So, that's a huge unfortunate. Sooooo anyone with that version that can't see main page genres, let me know and I will let you know what they are since I still have the old version (for now).
If you have the older version still, this is where you will find the MPG's (main page genre's):
They will be on the right side under Genres. For tagged tasks, you will then click see top shelves.

So, the bonus points are for the whole challenge. Not just for those specific tasks. If you post for '19. MPG Holiday' and your book is 'tagged family' and on the Halloween books list provided for the challenge, then you just need to let me know that and I will give you the 10 bonus points.

Yes, the main shelves/genres you see on the book's page are what you are using for the MPG tasks.

Unfortunately sometimes, the "show all" link is missing on the new version of the page so there's a workaround you can do to get there. If you go to the all editions page of a book, you can edit the URL and replace the word "editions" with "shelves" which will bring you to the top shelves page.
