@Zain: Thanks, my friend! I just finished it, gave it a 2/5 as I loved the start of it but the typos I found while reading took me out of the immersion. I also didn't like the ending but very much enjoyed the gore, blood, and all the horror behind it!

LoL if there weren't so many typos (including a space before a period which drove me nuts!), this would have been a 3/5 for me :-)

@incinimci: No worries, my friend! I didn't hate it, very much enjoyed the gore and horror aspects of it but yeah, wanted a bit more. The typos is what annoyed me the most!

Glad you are finished. So sorry you didn’t enjoy it as much as I have.
I didn’t count the typos against the book. Else I would have had a lower score.

I am glad that I am not the only one who noticed typos and feel like they singe my retinas. 😑 I see one or two every few books & I’m like how did no one notice this? Don’t they pay people to proofread before it gets published? Then I’m like you’re the only one who thinks like this, go sit outside & eat a banana or something. 🤣

@Zain: Thanks, my friend! No worries at all as that's okay, it's not like I hated it, it had some nice moments I enjoyed. Ohhhhhhhh, a Halloween book you say :-D

@Phrique: Oh yes, I personally hate typos in anything I read. If you got a novel, novella, anthology, whatever that was published, I'm paying money to read a finished and polished product. I counted about 5 blatant typos including a space before a comma... common now! I don't care if it's a dollar or $30 for a book, anything published for the world to read needs to be proofread, spellchecked, and grammar-checked. If you're publishing anything, hire an experienced editor to make sure it's perfect.

Otherwise, I'll make sure to voice my thoughts on it in my review and ding it an entire star, even if it's amazing!
