((This thread has added questions that are new to this BotM and the previous month's BotM. I'm looking forward to seeing your answers!))

1. Who was your favorite character? Why?

2. Who was your least favorite character? Why?

3. Which scene has stuck with you the most?

4. What did you think of the writing?

5. Would you want to read another book by this author?

6. If you could change one part of the book, what would it be?

7. What did you think of the ending? (Spoiler tags, please!)

8. What was your overall opinion?

Elizabeth Faustina (ourladysthimble) | 347 comments 1. Peter Pan.

2. Peter Pan.

I need to start over. 😂

1. I suppose I do like Peter.

2. Had to think a lot about this! Conner is annoying right now, but I might end up liking him. (view spoiler) I also don't like Slightly or Nibs, I was disappointed in them. I expected Capt. Hook to be bad so he's not my least favorite. XD

3. The scene where she dances on the rooftop (view spoiler). I love dancing and I really connected with her there, because I understand how dancing can be her happy spot. I also love the part where she and Peter dance with the pixies (view spoiler), because of dancing again, and it was sweet and meaningful.

4. The book was very well written! I think it's hard to change perspectives from chapter to chapter and the author nailed it! I do think there was a problem with Peter. The British slang he kept using was old-fashioned, and even if it were supposed to be to match his character, it doesn't match his original way of speaking. It's as if she stuck those words in there so he sounded British.

5. Yes, I already ordered the next book because I need it! XD

6. Oof... I would make it more accurate with the original.

7. It was alright! (view spoiler)

8. Here's my review! https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

1. Who was your favorite character? Why? Peter, of course! Claire was fine, but Peter was much more relatable.

2. Who was your least favorite character? Why? Uh...I'm not sure, actually. And believe it or not, Captain Hook wasn't too bad.

3. Which scene has stuck with you the most? The scene with the dust on the rooftop (I think?) and Peter still holding on to Claire to help her even though he was being burned.

4. What did you think of the writing? I could swear I marked out a million beautiful quotes while reading, so there's that. On the other hand, I also think the writing could've been more compelling than it was.

5. Would you want to read another book by this author? Yes, of course! I've already read Shadow but haven't read The Girl Who Could See yet.

6. If you could change one part of the book, what would it be? Claire choosing to (view spoiler)! That was exceptionally frustrating to me.

7. What did you think of the ending? (Spoiler tags, please!) I already explained for the previous question. 😂

8. What was your overall opinion? I liked Dust! It's a book I'd recommend to others, and you can see my full review at https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...!
