Is “From Lukov With Love,” worth it? I started reading it recently, after I dnf a few months ago due to being in a reading slump and I wanna know if I’m going insane because I can’t decide if I like and relate to it or it’s just not for me.

i think this was one of my favs from MZ so I’d say that it’s definitely worth it. Give it another try!
I’m going too! I just suck myself into reading bad reviews so now I’m like angry at the reviews and the book 😭
this is a personal fave and the first 5star i read this year!! it is a drag at the start but it definitely picks up :)
I really enjoyed their banter and the way they slowly became friends. It was one of my top reads from last year! I was in a reading slump after bc I couldn’t find anything that I liked as much lol.

First off, I totally understand being influenced by the bad reviews. I had a similar experience to another book (People We Meet on Vacation) and I JUST finally got around to reading it and absolutely loving it. 🤣 And this was after picking up the book like 5 times over the past 3-4 months and not being able to get past the first chapter. I don't know what made it finally click with me, but I read it in a day and got upset that I let the reviews influence me. 😂 But back to your question, this is probably favorite sports book from MZ so YES!! Hope you do end up reading this one sometime soon!
I’ll be honest, I did get bored with it. It hits all the standard MZ storylines with the slow burn, so I think when I read it, I knew the formula and wound up not loving it like everyone else. My biggest issue was the repetitive internal monologues…the book would’ve been great for me if some of those had been taken out. But if it’s someone’s first MZ read, I can see why they’d love it because I probably would have too.

I absolutely loved ‘From lukov with love’. <3 If you don’t like slowburn than I don’t think you would enjoy it as much but the banter is 10/10. It is also my first MZ book so I’m def gonna try read more of her books.
