TMEB, you are correct!

I did work at McDonalds and met my fiancée there. I was a floor sander for a friend's dad for a couple of months and then one of his friends had the big RMIT University job, so I was asked to help out with that one.

As for teaching; I am qualified to teach English and Art in Secondary School, as well as teaching Primary School. But I chose Primary School earlier on and haven't even looked at teaching Secondary at this point. I now coordinate the Grade 5/6 area within my school. :)

It's a great job - especially seeing the changes that the students go through in their learning, however now there is so much paperwork that I spend more time stuffing around with that than teaching.

There's ups and downs in all jobs, that's what I think and if don't mind any kind of paperwork so teaching might be the job for me!

That's true. If you enjoy working with kids, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

I hope so

message 156: by [deleted user] (new)

I could never be a teacher, I am not patient enough. I do like working with kids though.

1. When I grow up I wish to be a journalist
2. I am currently working on a Peter Pan show at the local community theater.
3. I have abnormally small hands.

message 158: by [deleted user] (new)

Nope, that's true. I have child sized hands, and wear a size 4.5 shoe.

message 159: by [deleted user] (new)

I'll choose 1, just because. :)

message 161: by [deleted user] (new)

The answer is #1. Congrats Travis!!! I do not want to ba a journalist when I grow up.

Um... let's look at sports I've played competitively.

1. I played mixed-team Netball for the Brunswick North Bullets, just last year and early this year. We ended up on top of the ladder in our division for qualifying games, even though we never won a match. Eventually we won two matches.

2. I played soccer (football) for the Ballarat Red Devils back in 1997 to 1999. We only lost two matches for the 1999 season and got into the grand final, only to lose by two goals.

3. I played Aussie Rules Football for the Airport West Eagles back in 1988 - 1993. I was the captain of the side for three years and was playing in the Seniors side, even though I was meant to be in the Under 16's and Under 18's side for a few years.

You're correct, Crosby! #2 is the lie.

I've played all of the sports above, except with Soccer I played Indoor Soccer with a team consisting of my brothers and a few friends. We did get into the grand final in our first and only season and lost by two goals.

message 166: by [deleted user] (new)

Let's do the sport I'VE been in..

1. I played soccer from age 3-12 for the Clavet Cougars. We rarely lost games and, when I was 12, I was put into the next age level because of my skill. (Supposed to be in Under 12, but was in Under 14.)

2. I am in Sport Fencing. I have gone duelling internationally, winning about 85% of the time. I have gone, multiple times, to Japan, twice to France, and MANY times to the States.

3. I figure skated from age 7-13. I won, in total, three platinum, six gold medals, eight silver, and five bronze.

Well then, I'll go #3

message 170: by [deleted user] (new)

Z is right! I have always wanted to be in Sport Fencing but don't have the money :(

I have been in both soccer and figure skating though! Everything else is most definitely true!

message 185: by [deleted user] (new)

message 187: by [deleted user] (new)

Okay

1. I have stood in 4 states (USA) at once
2. I have been too 7 different countries
3. I have been to 43 out of 50 states (USA)

message 189: by Travis (last edited Apr 17, 2015 01:56AM) (new)

Travis Berketa (travisberketa) | 555 comments Mod
#1 - technically, you couldn't stand in four different states at once, unless you had four legs [I'm assuming you don't have four legs, TMEB] :)

Unless you stood on the border of four different states, then I'd have to say #1 is achievable and I'd choose #3... but go #1 at the moment.

message 190: by Night Owl (new)

Night Owl Reader (allnightreading) It's most likely true that TMEB doesn't have four legs, but she(?) does have two legs and two arms. This is why I am going with #2.

message 191: by [deleted user] (new)

3?? (I know someone already said it but... I need to put in my two cents)

You have probably been to, like, 42 or something!

message 192: by [deleted user] (last edited Apr 17, 2015 01:22PM) (new)

2 is wrong. Congrats Sarah. I have been to a grand total of 2 countries, not 7.

message 193: by Night Owl (last edited Apr 18, 2015 04:26AM) (new)

Night Owl Reader (allnightreading) Which two countries are they? Since, you were doing locations, I might as well go with the flow~

1) I've been to Kyoto, Japan.
2) I've been to Osaka, Japan.
3) I've been to Tokyo, Japan.

message 194: by Travis (new)

Travis Berketa (travisberketa) | 555 comments Mod
#2 - Osaka?

message 195: by [deleted user] (new)

1???

message 196: by [deleted user] (new)

3????- And it was just the U.S. and Canada, which isn't very exciting considering I live in Michigan, and can drive there in like 2 hours.

message 197: by Night Owl (new)

Night Owl Reader (allnightreading) Congrats, TMEB! I went with a tour group, and we just so happen didn't go to Tokyo. I went to Kyoto, Osaka, and Kobe instead...I loved the trip!

message 198: by [deleted user] (new)
