If anyone still has a nomination to make, now would be a good chance to do so - I'll probably be opening the poll tomorrow.
I'm going to nominate The Confident Hope of a Miracle: The True Story of the Spanish Armada and The White Rose Murders, and since 5 is still pretty light for a poll, I'll add a few runners up from earlier this year to make up the numbers. And with that, nominations are closed.
The poll is now open. You'll find it at the top of the group's Polls page, the bottom of its Home page, or here: https://www.goodreads.com/poll/show/2... .
There is only paperback and an ebook. There have been no previous editions. I will have to get on to the publisher about 3 Kindle editions being listed!
Can I suggest Mark Stoyle's new book - it's only just come out and is a fantastic revision of the Western Rising/Prayer Book Rebellion of 1549, and sheds new light on all of the political turmoil of the mid-sixteenth century. A Murderous Midsummer: The Western Rising of 1549
I'm sorry, Debbie - the nominations are closed, and the poll is, as well, for that matter. Nominate it next month!

If it's in a series, can it be easily read as a stand-alone? If not, you might want to nominate the first book in the series, or the most recent book in it the group has not read together.
Two nominations to a person, please.
(Sorry about the summer, folks - it was a nightmare of scheduling down here.)
