Maria nodded. "I suppose that's true. I'd have to agree with you on that" she said. "I think there's both good and bad things about living a longer life, I guess it just depends on how you choose to live it, though."

Savannah then said, "that may be true but still i prefer having a short amount time meaning i try to do more things"
((It's alright!))
Maria leaned in her chair, crossing her arms. "No, I can agree with your point, too. Even if you have a long, it can be boring sometimes if you don't do enough. But it would also be interesting to have a long life, at least to me. I can see both sides, though" she said.

Maria nodded her head. "Yeah, I agree. And lonely, too. I can imagine, at least" she said. She paused for a moment. "If you don't mind me asking, what happened to your family? Are they alive or..." She stopped herself from finishing her sentence, as she didn't want to potentially bring up something personal.
"Oh, I see" Maria said. She had a look of curiosity on her face, thinking. "Why did you leave your home, though? And how did you find out about the school in the first place?" she asked.

Maria nodded her head. "Yeah, I can understand having the whole traditional family thing. My parents are strict, but not super strict, and they like keeping our traditions alive" she said. She smiled. "Well, it sounds like Blade is a good friend for helping you out and bringing you here."
"I can see why" Maria said. She gave a small smile. "He seems like he's more like family than your actual family. I have a friend back home that I consider a sister, even though we aren't. She doesn't go to the school, though."
Maria nodded her head. "A little bit of both. She's a few years younger than me, so she can't go yet. But also because she has some personal things going on now. At least, that's what she told me last time I talked to her" she said.
Maria frowned, thinking. "No, I haven't thought about that. I don't see why she would have a reason to hide anything from me, though. We trust each other, and we've never kept any secrets before. But I would be upset if she is and she never told me" she said.

Maria nodded her head. "I suppose that's true" she said. She sighed. "I would hope that my friend trusts me enough to tell me everything that she's going through, though. Even if it makes her uncomfortable. I wouldn't judge her no matter what."
Maria shrugged. "I guess" she said. "I'm not going to ask her more about it just in case, though." She paused. "So, do you have any friends back home? Or do they all go to this school, too?"
"Oh" Maria said. She gave a slight frown. "That doesn't sound like it was very fun. At least to me. I wouldn't want to be isolated from others. I love being around other people. That's just my opinion, though."

"Why would they do that, though?" Maria asked. She had a puzzled expression on her face. "You would think that they would want you to meet others, right? Well, maybe not humans, but not other vampires or other creatures like us?"
Maria nodded. "Yeah, I get that. My family is pretty traditional when it comes to most things. But they let us play with the other kids in the village" she said. She shrugged. "My parents never liked humans. Which in a way I can understand. But personally, I don't think that all humans are bad. I know that there are good humans out there."

Maria frowned. "I guess that's true" she said. She sighed, thinking for a moment. "I suppose they hunt or don't like us because we're different. We're not human like they are. And that makes them afraid of us. But we're not the monsters they think we are."

Maria tilted her head. "To make money?" she said. She paused for a moment, thinking. "How would they be able to make money from us, though? Because not many people believe that we even exist in the first place, and they would have proof?"

"So they could find out more about us, right? Like our powers or something? I suppose that makes sense" Maria said. She hated the thought of humans killing mythical creatures. "Well, it's a good thing humans don't know about the school. Excpet for ones who are the parents of some of the students here."

"Spies?" Maria said curiously. "What do you mean by that?" She stared at the can, puzzled. "And why do you have a can of tomato soup with you? I'm a little confused by now to be honest with you."

"Oh, that makes sense" Maria said. She gave a small chuckle. "Yeah, I highly doubt that there human spies here at the school. If that were the case, you'd think we might've figured it out by now and we would be in big trouble."

Maria tilted her head. "Spies among mythical creatures?" she said. Was that even possible? She wasn't sure, but she doubted it. She brushed off the idea. "Well regardless, I doubt there are spies here, so I don't think we really have to worry about that much."

Maria nodded her head. "True" she said. She put her things away in her bag, looking at the clock. "There's still a little time before I have to go to class. But I should probably get going soon so I won't be late. I'll stay here for a few more minutes, though."
"Alright" Maria said. She shrugged, completely forgetting about that fact. She was distracted by the conversation that she seemed to ignore it. She stood up, pushing her chair inward towards the table and grabbing her bag.
((Should we finish the roleplay now?))
((Should we finish the roleplay now?))

"See you later" Maria said. She nodded her head. "Don't worry. I will." She started walking towards the exit of the library, opening the door and made her way to her last class of the day, excited to almost be done with the school day.

So-yeon walked around the library, looking for a space to read the book she had brought with her. To her relief, they're weren't many people today. She wasn't much of a social person and found it awkward talking to others sometimes. She scanned the area, noticing an empty table. Perfect. She walked in the direction of the table and sat down in one of the wooden chairs. She opened her bag, grabbing her book and began to read.

As So-yeon read the book, she enjoyed the peace and quiet. And the library was the perfect place the escape from the occasional chaos that happened at the academy. But that peace and quiet was quickly disturbed when she suddenly heard a loud screech coming from one of chairs nearby. She flinched, putting her book down and turned her head around. It was Nicholas, who she assumed had just entered the library. She recognized him from the few classes they had together. She gave him a small smile. "Well, I see I'm not the only one in here. Hi" she said. "You're Nicholas, right"?

"So-yeon" she replied simply. She watched as Nic examined her, unsure why. When he spoke, she blinked, surprised by his compliment. "Thank you." That was all that she could say. She didn't wear makeup that often, but she decided to be a little more formal today and put on some basic eyeshadow and eyeliner. She looked at her book as Nic asked about it. "I'm reading The Hunger Games. Ever read it before?"
