Nominations are now open for October, 2022!

The authors exempt from nomination, since we've already selected one of their books this year are, Laura Blount, Laura Bradford, Linda Byler, Amanda Flower, Charlotte Hubbard, Kate Lloyd, Marta Perry, and Sarah Price. We do make exceptions for novella collections. If you're not sure if your book is eligible for nomination, please leave a comment and one of the moderators will get back to you!

Rules:
1. Any Amish-themed novel is eligible.
2. One nomination per person.
3. If two people nominate the same book, each person's vote counts. So the book will feature twice in the list to give each vote an equal chance.
4. Nominations run until the 14th of the month, with the winner announced on the 15th.
5. The winning book is chosen using Random.org to make it completely fair.
6. Please don't nominate a book we have already read. You can see our list of previous group reads here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... or look at the group read's bookshelf here: https://www.goodreads.com/group/books... (it includes the Christian group read as well).
7. Only nominate the first book in a series UNLESS we have already read #1 (see above link). In this case, #2 is then eligible for nomination!

Nominate away!!

#1. The Bake Shop (Amish Marketplace, #1) by Amy Clipston -- Amber
#2. The Bake Shop (Amish Marketplace #1) by Amy Clipston -- Katrina
#3. The Bake Shop (Amish Marketplace #1) by Amy Clipston -- Jennifer
#4. Rumspringa's Hope (Spirit of the Amish #1) by Beth Shriver -- Jazmyne
#5. The Stone Wall by Beverly Lewis -- Barbara
#6. The Beginning by Beverly Lewis -- Diane
#7.

I'll nominate "The Stone Wall" by Beverly Lewis.

Only a couple of hours until nominations close... anyone else want to throw a title into the ring?

I'm sorry I missed it until now, but we read "The Outcast" together in 2016. Can you pick another real quick like?

I had it up on the nomination list because I hadn't checked the Group Read bookshelf, but back on the 14th, I left this message as a reply to your nomination...

To everyone, please don't forget to check the bookshelf before you nominate, especially if it's an older book.
