FBI Agent Jules Cassidy is dispatched to Los Angeles to work on the threat and runs smack dab into his former lover Adam Wyndham who seems to have quite a hold over him. What about this relationship did you find the most revealing? Are Adam’s motives in reuniting genuine or something else?

I think Adam wanted to get back with Jules because Jules was actively working on the movie set to protect Jane. Adam figured that Jules was his way into winning a part on the movie. If Jules fell for Adam again, that was a plus for Adam. I don't think Adam's motives were genuine at all.

Adam is the new Mary Lou! I hate him with the strength of a thousand suns for what he did to Jules.

It was obvious that he only came to LA to use Jules so that he could get a part in Jane's film. The fact that it worked really annoyed me!

Good comparison, Lauren. Just like when Mary Lou was introduced in the series, Adam is using a good guy for his own ends.

I could not figure out why Jules let this obvious player continue to play him. I never believed he truly wanted to reunite with Jules.

Adam is Jules’ weakness. He knows how he is but hasn’t had enough distance yet to get over him. Yeah, all Adam wanted was the part. He only know how to love himself. Nothing genuine about him but his selfishness.
