Don't Slide Back. - Don't forget how far you have come! Don't let life circumstances cause you to go back to where God had delivered you from. It sometimes starts with doubt or fear or weakness. You stop reading your Bible, your prayer life is lacking, to start back getting comfortable with things you use to do that you know that is wrong and you try to justify it. Living for Jesus is not a 'baseball game' you can't just live any kinda way and think you can 'Slide' into Heaven. You might ask what am I doing wrong, read your Bible the answers are there and most of us already know what we need to repent about. There's a saying... "the first time it's a mistake...The second time it's a choice." -As a dog returns to its vomit, a fool repeats his foolishness. -Proverbs 26:11 But Jesus told him, “Anyone who puts a hand to the plow and then looks back is not fit for the Kingdom of God.”-Luke 9:62 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. -Romans 12:2 The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure. -1 Corinthians 10:13
