I'm personally really excited to consume this book. A lot of trustworthy book people say it is amazing. Hoping high expectations don't thwart my enjoyment. (I will be listening to the audio).

This book is unexpectedly nostalgic for me. Specifically (view spoiler)[playing a Nintendo, programming in basic (that sorry program!), and the fact that Sam graduated high school the same year that I did (hide spoiler)]

I am enjoying it. The only other book I've read by this author is Elsewhere and I quite liked that too.

My wife loved this book, so I'm going to read it as soon as I can, which is probably in about a week.

Also by this author that you might like is The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry.

I'm halfway through part III and I love that I'm swimming in nostalgia... In the beginning it was pure 90's pop culture, but now I feel more of a nostalgia for youthfulness in general. (view spoiler)[ The way the friendship between Sam and Sadie is written takes me back to all of the feels of growing up and how all encompassing those friendships were. I also found what Dov said to Sadie about, how when you're young your friends are your family etc, really hit me. I didn't realize how much I missed that closeness with my college friends because it slowly evolved as did my life outside of them. With the page acting as a mirror to my past I feel the loss. I actually called them just to remind them that I love them. (hide spoiler)]
Enjoying this book as well. I plan to pick up both of the books you guys mentioned.
