I prefer Celest Ng's previous novels: Everything I Never Told You and Little Fires Everywhere
I felt Our Missing Hearts did pick up at about the half-way point. In the way of disturbing social commentary, following the tradition of Orwell's1984 and Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale, it takes the reader a while to find their footing in a near future world.
I haven't written my review yet.

I'm currently reading The Lincoln Highway by Amor Towles. This is the first book I've read by the author - I still may get around to reading A Gentleman in Moscow in November.
I don't think The Lincoln Highway is "Amazing", but I'm finding it well-written and interesting enough.

I preferred her other books too.
It’s funny some reviewers felt the first half was slow and others like myself felt it slowed down in the second half when it changed perspectives.
It was definitely scary in how real it felt based on all the crazy sh*t going on in the world today.

Thanks! I really want to see TILL.

I’ve heard nothing but good things about A Gentleman in Moscow. Hope to read that myself eventually.

TILL is rated PG-13, but I like to warn viewers about the disturbing and emotionally charged scenes. Knowing TILL is based on real events makes it all the more disturbing.

Task #7. I read a short novel I found in my neighborhood Little Free Library, titled Blessings. Blessings ended up being the family surname. 3 out of 5 stars.

Thanks for the update, Dustin! :D

Thanks for the update, Danell! :D
Glad you enjoyed it. I really need to pick that up-I’ve been meaning to read it for ages.
I read Daisy Darker by Alice Feeney, which meets task #4 as a revenge story and also task #7 a book with a name in the title. 4 out of 5 stars.

That was a fun book.
Thanks for the update, Dustin! :D

Hope your next book is more enjoyable.

Highly recommend if you enjoy the genre. Fun look behind the scenes of some of the most popular romantic comedies through the years.
