I got forbidden from buying books at the age of 12 because i read so much lmao I used to buy them secretly and hide them in my room
I used to read with a flashlight under the blankets past my bedtime.
oh my goodness the amount of times i got scolded for reading in class 😭 in my defense tho i only did that cuz i finished wtv work i needed to do in class
growing up i used to think reading is the most boring thing to ever exist, but now i can’t stop doing it

yes! back when i was in high school, i used to wake up at 4:00am to get some reading done before classes. my mom found out about that and got me grounded. i still do this up to this day, minus the grounding.

YES N I STILL DO. i remember the first book it happened with was the hunger games i don’t think i left my room the day i started it until that night when i finished it

No, my mother has always been very supportive of how much I love to read. When I was younger, she helped me pick out books and would read them to me. My parents love that I like reading
