The Academy For Mythical Creatures discussion
A raised an eyebrow. "Huh?" A then thought of something. "Oh? Are you a wendigo?" A asked, looking at the girl.
Sierra ~Books and Music Make Life *Better*~ wrote: "She ran out of the Cafe and towards her dorm. 'being a wendigo isn't that obvious. How would she know?'"A follows her. "I'm a demon of course." She said handing out what looked like a pill. "Take this.. It helps with your little problem." A smirked.

Lucyda had decided to start her day right. That is to say: start it late, and with something sweet. She entered the cafe, scoping out first the seating — and finding it to be lacking. A soft tsk of discontent left her as her familiars appeared by her side with a wave of a billowing kimono sleeve. Words need not be spoken as they stepped up to the line, and no sooner had she blinked both stood at the front — bypassing Haru entirely. The seating within the cafe shifted as well, the faint scent of wisteria blossoms in full bloom entering the cafe as the goddess crossed to the newly made table and lush cushions not far from where two students (Saphira and Sierra) sat.(view spoiler)
Lucyda didn't often like to meddle in the affairs of students. Okay, maybe she did just a little bit. A tiny bit. But she was supposed to be an educator, and apparently there was a certain measure of educating these young students on manners. People these days; ignoring everything and everyone around them for a tiny device the size of their hands. With no more than a thought, the interior of the cafe would change again.
Fuyuto would notice it as simply being a sudden shift from one place to the next. He would turn away from the counter after retrieving his coffee — to being stuck smack in the middle of a moonlit clearing. What had previously been the start of his day would be the stretch of a long night. The familiars he had greeted would stand beside him, the dark-haired one offering its hand to lead him forward.
Saphira and Sierra at their respective tables would feel the ground split beneath them. Quite literally. The sensation of falling would overtake them immediately, scrambling to catch their coffees and any personal items they had on them. But they would never hit the bottom of anything, or fall for very long. No more than a second, though it might have felt a little like an eternity. They would, too, be in the clearing. Fluorescent purple buds were scattered in the grass, their bulbs turned toward the moon. They would notice each other, and the soft purple blanket stretched out beneath them, with their drinks unspilled and waiting.
But all three would notice — Sierra and Saphira seated, while Fuyuto was guided toward them — the imposing figure of the goddess. Much larger than them, lounging among the roots of a much larger tree. "Good morning." Offered up sweetly despite the fact that it was no longer morning.

((Wait- like honestly? irl? Or like- just for this?))"That's fun. Well, if you ever do decide to join, I'd love to come to some of your games!"
((OMG!!! YESSSS!!! Sorry, I bet you already know this, but I actually play volleyball for my HS team!))"Yeah! Ooh! Favourite book?"
((Omg. Please please please join volleyball. Maybe by some unexplainable chance, we could probably play against each other's volleyball team!!! Lol. Sorry.))"That's nice. Favourite movie?" They smile as they take a sip of coffee.
((I don't know- and sorry for not responding- I read it but didn't respond to this-))"Favorite movie? Hm. I don't have one. Though I have a favorite TV show! It's called The Owl House! It's really good!" They smiled, "What about you? What's your favorite movie or TV show?"

"Honestly, I've never seen the Owl House. But my favourite movie is The Shining. Have you seen it?"
"No, I haven't." They said, shaking their head. "I don't really like scary movies." They chuckled. "What about a TV show?" They asked, tilting their head.
"Wait a second!!! You've never seen the Shining!?!?! But It's so good! you have to watch it! Here- would you like to watch it with me?" Lelian put her hand over Jackie's without even realising it.
Jackie's eyes widen. "Uh.- Sure? But if I scream in your ear every two seconds, and have nightmares for the rest of my life, I'm blaming it on you!-"

((Wait- where the heck would they watch it... I haven't got anything set up in this group yet. Or is there like a movie theater or smthn?))
Ebony needed a refresher after her odd day. She missed Ivory, but since she was having fun with people other than Ebony, she didn't want to ruin that. She went to the counter and ordered a caramel boba tea.
((Yep, this is what I meant XD))Megan was sitting at a table near a window, browsing through her notes and plans. A cup of hot chocolate was sitting next to her pencils, half empty with the marshmallows sitting at the bottom. Megan sighed and brushed her hair out of her face. Her wings were making this a thousand times harder.
Ebony looked around for an empty table, the boba chilling her hands. She took a sip, chewing on the boba while she mustered up the courage to sit at the table with the least people. She slid into a seat next to Megan and set down her boba, looking down.
((No, no it's fine!))Megan barely spared the new girl a glance as she muttered about making changes to some design. She scratched out part of her drawing in pen and added a long numerical formula. Her left hand reached over and grabbed the handle of her hot chocolate mug, and she tried to quietly slurp of the marshmallows while thinking.
Megan finally glanced up slowly with a blank expression on her face. "Could you slurp a little quiet please, I'm trying to work out some project design issues." She didn't say this rudely, but her tone was blunt and emotionless. She pushed her pencil behind her ear and shifted her aching shoulders.
Megan shook her head a little and mumbled, "It's fine..." Then went back to work, drinking the last of her hot chocolate. The sound of her pencil scribbling across her paper was calming to hear in a way, and Megan's wings flapped gently when she worked out the perfect solution to her problems.
Megan was honestly a little surprised to meet someone else who had wings. There hadn't seemed to be many other students with similar appendages to hers, so it was kind of nice...Megan sighed and tapped the pencil tip against her chin. "Why isn't this working...?" She mumbled under her breath. She glanced up at the other girl and muttered internally. 'I should probably say hello or something...'
"Uh....um....what book are you reading?"
"Ah...I've never heard of it." Megan said, a little louder than she'd asked the previous question. "What's it about?" She scratched her pen across a sheet of blank notebook paper, writing out words that didn't make a whole lot of sense and numbers that went on in endless strings.
"Ah...that sounds..." 'Boring' "Interesting...."Megan was blunt and straightforward, but she wasn't mean.
She couldn't find it in her to tell the girl the book sounded like an afternoon nap.
((I'm going to school after this, so I probably won't post for a while))
