I need help changing my author name

I got married and changed my name, so I am trying to update all of my author titles to my new name, but it won't allow me to do that. Could someone please help me?

Sorry, forgot to say what my name needs to be changed to.
My new name is Amber Lemus.

You cannot change your name from what is on your books.
If you'd like to change your name to Amber Schamel Lemus (as it includes the full name on the books) you will have to contact support.

I need to do this as I am going to republish my book with my real last name since I'm getting published (not just Amazon published).

How long does it take for support to do this?

You will have to ask them about it. We are not part of that process.
For future reference, double check that a topic is not tied to a specific author or book at the top before posting.
