Burak (bfmermer) | 1 comments I have problem with public lists, more precisely lists being open to public votes. I want to create a list that includes Hugo (or any other award) Award winners that published in my language (which is Turkish). But since the lists are open to votes, anyone can come and troll my list and add any non-related book. Is there any ways to prevent this, creating an unvotable list or maybe something else?

Emily | 17733 comments If it is a list in which only certain books qualify, like Turkish editions of Hugo Awards, you can make the list and then we can make it static where no one is able to add new books.

I would complete the list, ask us to make it static, and then should you want to include next year's award winner in the future we can briefly change it.
I would make separate lists for each award because we can't constantly make a list static and un-static.

Should a list have a wrong book on it, you can ask someone to remove it.

Only superlibrarians are able to make a list static. So you can post in the "Help me, superlibrarian" folder in this group when you are ready.
