I had finished that book and was the posting the review shortly…just realized when I went to post the review. I know some don’t check the spreadsheets or check the chat though.

Sorry, it was me that updated the spreadsheet after I saw them post in the review thread for the task. I was on the phone app for the spreadsheet which didn't show the task was already claimed when I filled it in. I'll definitely use the desktop version to do that now since it seems the app is weird.

No worries. It’s okay. Maybe the spreadsheet glitched. It does make it difficult at times if not everyone uses the spreadsheet unfortunately. Honestly, most of my reads the last month have been chosen to solely fit prompts here and the quarterly challenge, because I’m too indecisive with my own TBR list. Lol. It’s not the end of the world, I’ll wait for a different character to fit it. It doesn’t fit any of the other current prompts as far as I can tell.

I didn't see anyone say anything about that prompt in the chat before I said that I could do it. After I said that I could do it, you only mentioned the escape prompt in the chat so I didn't think the 7 letter prompt was taken.

Is there anyway we can utilize one space to make sure we see each other’s claims? I did post my claim for that prompt in here and in the spreadsheet, finished it and just needed to post the review from my pc when I got home. The app isn’t great to do much from. I’m truly not trying to be come across mean or anything, but in every challenge I’ve participated in once something is claimed, it’s claimed, and we try to fill in the other prompts unless the person doesn’t finish their claim in a reasonable time.

This is the second prompt I’ve claimed, finished the book and only needed to post the review for when I got home. 😂.

We could keep count of open and taken prompts in the chat if people can't see the spreadsheet. I know it's frustrating to read specifically for a prompt and then have it be posted by someone else.
