Those books have been on my list forever.I'm not up to date with new books, but some lesser known books I liked are Singularity's Ring, Six Wakes, Semiosis.
Daughter of the Moon Goddess is newish.
I like Modesitt's fantasy books. He has several series, but his Recluce series is my favorite & longest. The first published is The Magic of Recluce. My review lists the series in chronological order & explains the difference. It's here:https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Steven Brust's Jhereg series is another favorite. There are a couple of prequel trilogies & another book that is unrelated but set in the same world, Brokedown Palace.
I loved Jhereg.Michael J. Sullivan's Ryria series is a good one. The first is The Crown Conspiracy.
Now that I'm on the desktop, I can link: The Crown Conspiracy
For something pretty recent and good there is The Long Price Quartet: The Complete QuartetI can't comment on audible versions though, I've yet to try an audiobook :)

I need some audible recommendations. Looking for stuff that's new/recent, rather than of all time.
Thanks.
Am currently listening to John Gwynne's new trilogy (book 1, the name of which escapes me) and Blood Song by Anthony Ryan. Could always do with more :D
