Please answer "Is it easier to be rich or poor? Why?" using 80-250 words.

Wow beautiful question: I can honestly think of ways to respond to both sides of this question and I'm guessing you are asking because of a school assignment. So, I will answer for both sides, and you can make up your mind which you think it better.

It is easier to be poor: To argue this side, I think it ultimately comes down to mindset. As we all know perspective is what makes or breaks a situation. Being poor, allows you to take a step back from the typical flow of the world and settle into a place where your true enjoyment comes from watching the world around you, and finding beauty in even the smallest things. Being poor allows you to use your creative mind instead of the mindset given to you by the everchanging world around you. Being poor is easier because it allows you to go with your own flow and learn to live a minimalistic and simple lifestyle. Money is not what brings happiness and being poor allows you to see that there is more to life than money. So therefore, being poor is easier, because it helps you to restore your touch with humanity in a way that allows you to grow in your character and overall well-being.

Being rich is easier: Being rich is easier because you have all the means you need to survive. You don't have to worry about bills, or where your next meal comes from. Instead, you have all your needs taken care of and more. Being rich allows you to live comfortably so therefore it is easier.

Downsides to being rich: In my personal opinion, being rich can also feel like being stuck. Being rich will never satisfy you because you are always looking for the next best thing instead of living in the moment and enjoying the free and simple things around you. Therefore, being rich is not easier because instead of struggling financially, you are struggling mentally and emotionally.

Downsides to being poor: In a society that functions with the idea that money buys you happiness, it's hard to bypass it and live freely with minimal costs. Although it is possible, it is hard.

I hope this helps. Choose whichever one you feel yourself leaning more towards.

It is hard to be both. The most important thing is inner balance. Understanding when something is too much, and when something needs appreciation.

I truthfully can't choose but down below I will try.

Poor because you can spend more but you have to work really hard and get stressed to be rich most of the time. ((Not me basing it off of me just someone I know.))

Sorry the rest after poor was supposed to have a comma.

If Sociology 101 taught me anything the answer is rich. They have the best resources, not only in country but world wide. Heart failing? Get a new one. Don't like your face? Get a new one. That's not an option for the working class, and that's only the bottom run of the middle class. Imagine the bottom rung of the bottom rung. It ain't looking so hot.

I've had money and not needed it, and I've had no money and needed it. It was much easier to have money and not need it. I was able to help those that did need it. I have heard that it is much more difficult to be extremely rich than to be poor. It is difficult for me to comprehend that, but I can see where at times they both have their struggles and pit falls. However, I will take being wealthy over being poor.
