It's really good Felina! Read it whenever, I'm thinking we'll probably do a buddy read for the next one eventually. But no rush, we're all pretty slammed with books right now.

Just finished chapter 21. I haven't posted any thoughts on this one yet. Sorry. I really am enjoying this one. Orka is not to be trifled with and Varg is on his way to being who he needs and wants to be.

It's a bit slow of a read for me as I seem to struggle with some of the diction used. It's not a shot and Mr. Gywnne at all. It shows that he put in the effort to make it right. He participates viking reenactments as far as I know.

I finished the book and "WOW-WOW-WOW"!!! That was freaking AMAZING!!!

Thoughts:

(view spoiler)[I thought the dragon god was cool and how it just came up out of the earth! The detailed visual images of the dragon was awesome!

I also loved how the paths of Orka and Varg converged in the book as now the Bloodsworn will be helping Orka find her son no doubt. Reading about Glornir being the brother of Orka's husband was a very cool revelation and now Orka will not have to fight alone to find her son.

I know! I had to reread that sentence three times as I was stunned! I love being totally in shock mode when things come together at the end of a story. Cannot wait to continue on with the story and find out more things. :)

I know, right?! I am reading it and going "wait - what?" Then I had to reread it again twice for it to sink in to my brain that (view spoiler)[Orka and Grornir were family. I never for once thought that Orka would have a brother-in-law. As through the whole book nothing was mentioned that her husband Thorkel had any family.

Happy that you finished it and loved it! That book rocked! :)

I love his use of "thought-cage" throughout the book! I have never thought of my brain like that and now I need to use it in a sentence somewhere to friends. :)

I read your spoiler and yeah I thought (view spoiler)[the blood oath of Elvar was super cool and that fight between Orka and Drekr was a well deserved fight. Orka is amazing as far as I am concerned with fighting skills like super human. - (hide spoiler)]

I cannot wait to read book two!

I thought the 2 winged people almost got the upper had but the brutality of the dragon prevailed. I wish there was more of that in the book bit it sets it up nice for the nextt one (hide spoiler)]
