Accidentally created a series twice

Hi,

I accidentally created a series twice somehow. My computer was acting up the second I hit save when creating it so it was probably because of that. If I follow the steps below from the Librarian manual, it will only delete the series, correct? It won't in any way delete the books that are in the series?

"If you've done this, delete the new series (click edit on the series page, scroll to the bottom, and click delete), go to the correct series listing, and follow the steps for adding a book to a series."

I'm just double checking so it's done the correct way.
