A Court of Thorns and Roses question

This may be my bias because ToG is my all time favorite series. But I think that ToG is so much better, not only in terms of character development for all characters, but also in terms of themes.

Thats a very tough question! I'd really have to say ACOTAR wins by a small margin. I really preferred the character development in ToG but as far as action, location description, and reader involvement it was ACOTAR. There were times during several of the ToG books that I just could not make myself pick up the book. I was bored and didn't care what happened next. That never happened with ACOTAR. It held my attention and I was sad to reach the end. With ToG I feel like I exhaled when I finished a book- finally. ToG started out much stronger than it finished. It took longer to become invested in the characters in ACOTAR. So that's my non-decision. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend either series. Read and enjoy them both!

I started with ToG so it will ALWAYS have a special place in my heart. ACOTAR is definitely an adult series compared to ToG, so if someone doesn't like spice I wouldn't recommend. For me is great up until A Court of Wings and Ruin (3rd book), the 4th one was a novela that I was not invested in, so I wish Sarah had wrapped up the series in the 3rd book.

I wouldn't hesitate recommending either tho!
