I read it as a 14 year old not knowing what it was/what it was about. Its a great book but you should definitely read the trigger warnings beforehand. (It does have sexual content so keep that in mind)

I do recommend this book because the lesson behind it is woww. Definitely look up the warnings though!!

I’m 15 turning 16 in a few weeks and I read it a week ago I think if you’re able to understand and handle sensitive subjects it’s okay to read
