20.2 - Rookie at the Top - Keli's Task: For Jules

I was very excited to be offered this chance to make a challenge and I knew exactly what, or in my case who, I'd base it on. My best friend of 36 years, Julie aka Jules, passed away this January from breast cancer. She was one of the most awesome, giving and hardworking people in the world. She had the biggest heart. Bold claims, I know, but I can so back them up. This challenge is for her, wherever her spirit may be.

Please choose from one of the three options below.
Required: State the option.

Option 1. Jules had two email addresses. The first was Crabbyhorse because she was a Cancer in the Western zodiac and a horse in the Chinese. Read a book with either a horse or a crab on the cover. The animal doesn't have to be in it's entirety but it must clearly be a crab or horse. Equally, if you manage to find a book with a freakish amalgamation of the two, I'd not only be impressed, but I'd accept that too.
Required: Post the cover.

Option 2. Her other email was ladilatte. Read a book with a word of four letters or more in the title or subtitle that can be made from LADILATTE using the letters as many times as they appear.
Required: State the word.

Option 3. She is survived by five beautiful children. Read a book from a series with a minimum of five whole-numbered books in the series. The series name and number must be indicated in the GR title listing in grayscale parentheses following the title or grayscale italics above the title.

PS - Please get checked regularly. If you have any concerns DO NOT hesitate to see a doctor. Nothing is trivial or silly. Early detection saves lives

Option 3:
▪️Any book in a series can be read, does not need to be #1-#5
▪️Non-whole numbered books in a series can be read as long it meets SRC default rules

Option 1:
Horseman A Tale of Sleepy Hollow by Christina Henry Wolf Pack (Joe Pickett, #19) by C.J. Box Death of a Crabby Cook (Food Festival Mystery #1) by Penny Pike

Yes, you're correct. It can be any number in the series.

I am so sorry for your loss. Thank you for honouring Jules with us.

Silly question, while the series needs to have 5 whole numbered books, can the read book be a fraction if it meets guidelines?

Regards,
Charlie (List_addict)

Thank you, Charlie. It makes me joyous that people are reading in her memory. Silly, I know but there it is.
If it meets the task rules re the series book count and SRC rules, then I don't see why not. So sure, thing read a fraction book.

I'll take it. The trees make a horse.
