Subtitles like A Novel or A Story, etc, should not be added to the title. Other (non-blurb) subtitles should be added only when they appear on the cover.

Should I start a thread about this in Book Issues, or just make the request here for convenience's sake?
lethe wrote: "If it's this one request, you can post it here."It's just the one, so I'll post it here.
The novella Dirty Heads by Aaron Dries has the subtitle "a novella of cosmic coming-of-age horror" included in the title even though it shows up nowhere on the cover or on the title page. Could you please remove it from both editions of the book? (As a warning, the cover art has some rather gruesome body horror.)
Dirty Heads: A novella of cosmic coming-of-age horror (paperback edition)
Dirty Heads: A novella of cosmic coming-of-age horror (Kindle edition - also, the Kindle edition is missing its ASIN, so if you want to add it, it's B09K5RWWYT)
Thanks so much for the help.
That is not text we would include whether it was on the cover or not. Removed. The ASIN is already in place.
Scott wrote: "The ASIN is already in place."In that case, the new book design page is really not conducive to Kindle editions. The ASIN doesn't appear anywhere under the "This Edition" section of the page when clicked on, and after experimenting a bit, it seems like it doesn't appear on any other Kindle edition page for other books, either. And on the new page, putting the book's ASIN into the search bar does not make it appear as a result like inputting an ISBN does.
I know these issues are the fault of Goodreads' web design people and not the librarians, but I'm still bringing them up so you can all be aware of them if people ask for help with a Kindle edition in the future. And thank you for all your help with this book!

FWIW, ASINs are still visible on the editions page: https://www.goodreads.com/work/editio...

I'll either check the editions page or search future ASINs from the Goodreads homepage rather than any book page.
You'd think the web design team wouldn't overlook the Kindle edition problem, right? Goodreads is owned by the company that makes the dang things!
Anyway, thanks again for all your help with these issues. Much appreciated.

Asking because I spotted a novella with its subtitle included in the title field, and I'm pretty sure that's not supposed to happen, but I wanted to make sure before I started a thread about it.
