Hi Goodreads, I am Alison Williams, author of the novel, The Witch's Foundling. My name is apparently much more common than I anticipated. When I sign onto Goodreads, a couple of dozen books by or edited by 'Alison Williams' show up. Is there a way to address this or am I doing something incorrect? I still find it challenging to find my way around the Goodreads website. Thank you.

What you're saying doesn't make any sense, how's a rating even related to having authored a (non-existing) book?

Many authors rate their own books. What I'm saying is, it doesn't make sense to rate a book that you have nothing to do with, rather than just ask to have it moved at that time.
It did exist at one time, even if it is not on Amazon now.
I have moved it off of your profile.
I am only supposed to have ONE book (Hexley: Iron Aces MC) on my profile page.None of the other books are mine and need to be removed and put under the correct author please.

I write about those topics and there are people who package my work into books or courses and try to pawn them off as their own, sometimes attaching my name to it to attract views.
When someone sells that book on some websites and then see it exists here they may think it's an actual book I've written, which is not the case (in that sense, Goodreads is unwittingly endorsing that type of scam).
Hence, I'm asking to have it removed for good.
Or at least, remove my name from it.

The ASIN suggests that it was a valid book at some point. If this was a matter of book piracy, you will need to contact support:

Thanks, Goodreads. I thought I took a wrong turn on the site but wasn't sure. Not technically proficient and I'm still learning.
