How long to process librarian applications?

After passing the test to become a librarian and submitting the application, how long does it currently take to process the application? I can see in other threads that the backlog for adding new books is around 3-4 weeks so would assume it makes sense to onboard new librarians as quickly as possible?

We have no idea. It is handled by staff not us.

Because I pass this test several days ago (with 82% of right answers) and on the next day saw again quiz page. If I haven't checked I would still think that I had successfully applied and would have waited in vain for a decision.

I just checked the link and it still says Application Submitted. So I’m guessing it’s still being processed.

My application has taken a couple of months, I've been approved in July. If it says that the application is submitted, you've neither been rejected nor approved.

If it's any help to you as an orientation, I just became a librarian yesterday. I think I took the test towards the end of July (I don't remember the exact day).

Hi Pageturner and Karin. Ok, so the processing time is not entirely consistent. Maybe you guys are just spot on librarian material :) I passed my test on August 7 so close to 10 weeks now.

Update: Just now I've received a mail that I've been approved as a librarian. Great success!
