The Summer Place
question
Well????
I liked it very much. Quite twisty and suspenseful. This, in my opinion is my best Jennifer Weiner yet. I’m really surprised that so many here are trashing it. If you’re looking intellectualism, look elsewhere. If you’re looking for some pleasant summertime reading, you’ve come to the right place.
yeah! i'd say so. it's quite twisty as someone previously said, i read someone else say that it's like 5% present day and while the author does talk a lot about backstory and background, i like that about it. it helps you to understand the character's actions more. it's definitely not some sappy summer romance, there are lots of perspectives and emotions
