Richard Bixby | 2 comments I've been working on (seems like forever) a story which combines time travel and alternate history, in which a space ship accidentally traverses a wormhole which takes them not to a different place in the galaxy, but to an earlier point in time in a parallel universe whose history has already diverged from their own (I won't spoil the surprises in how it has changed).

I initially posted the completed chapters to Wattpad, but haven't gotten much response to that, so I've decided to serialize the book on Vella instead. I would love to see more reads/response, so I know whether to continue.

The title is "Glory Through the Wormhole", where "Glory of Sol" is the name of the ship. It does not appear to have automatically migrated from Amazon and I'm not sure whether Goodreads allows serials to be added to the system (and I haven't set up an author account on Goodreads yet, either).

I am in the middle of reading a book about King Arthur that a friend wrote but as soon as I am done I will check out the book. Sounds like an interesting series.

Thanks, Lizz.

Michael Pickard | 7 comments I too have blended time travel and alternative history in my novel "Forward and Back." My attempt was to be subtle, and instead, focus on the protagonist's dilemma and the consequences/choices facing him. Although I could have constructed it to become a series, I felt that the impact as a standalone novel was greater and would avoid repetition (i.e. multiple trips back to solve the fundamental problem in the first place).

Lizz Taylor | 218 comments Hi Richard,

I really did enjoy the story so far. I read all four in the series. I am not a fan of Vella. I guess I am spoiled by reading straight through. I think you should continue since I love the overall premise and want to see where you go with the storyline.

Best of luck!
