I went to see if I was denied for The Villa and I noticed a new feature! You can now withdraw requests if you haven't been approved or denied yet. My oldest dates back to 2020! I don't know what the advantage to this new feature is, but it at least can help clean up older ARCs. I don't know they wouldn't just slap a deny on it after a certain amount of time anyway! lol

Anyone notice any other new features?

I actually did notice that feature a little while ago. I haven't withdrawn anything yet but I might. I have a few sitting there from a while ago and I think they are archived by now anyway.

Yeah, it looks like they implemented it in April. I withdrew everything from 2020-June 2022. Which ended up being like 15 books. I still have 42 pending.

I use it and clean it up after the book has been archived no use trying then for the book.

I used it to clean up my shelves as well! I love the new option!!

I saw it too, but was hesitant to use it. I don't want them to think anything about how many withdrawals I have, but maybe I will do it for the archived ones.

I only have three pending and I really want them all! After requests sit for a while I consider withdrawing because I figure I won't get them and why increase my number declines, but then I always have that sliver of hope that they may be approved so I don't really want to do it.

If any were archived for over 30 days I would probably withdraw. They are supposed to drop off automatically 30 days after they archive.
