Backstory: The night of his daughter's birth was both the best day of his life, yet still the worst at the same time. The blood... So much blood... The shrieks of the flat-line was burned into his memory. Being escorted from the room by a nurse. His own cries for his wife. He could hardly remember any details from how blurred his sight was from tears. He had never cried like that before. Hearing the doctor breaking the news to him of the death of Luna Vencel had fractured his heart, but the sight of his newborn daughter eased the pain of his loss.
"Emma...my darling little Emma..." He managed to murmur through his sobs. "We'll be okay."
And he was right. With the aid of both sides of the family, Dallas was able to raise his daughter and safely grieve. With time, he healed as he painted his emotions on canvas. More often than not, Emma's imagination was inspiration for him, even today at age fifteen. His daughter remains the light of his life. Her joyful spirit has given him courage to keep living, even through his darkest days. He had been blessed, and he hopes he can be there when she needs him most.

↳ Jay is a terrible person to confront. He has a sharp tongue that is not afraid to use hurtful words just to be alone. His dark and hostile nature has led others to believe he's just an over all bad guy, but that simply isn't the case. Every mean word or action is just a defense mechanism. It would be expected, with the emotional and mental abuse he's had to put up with. Internally, he's a sweetheart who's just lonely, and just doesn't understand or even know how to show how he cares.
↳ Like I said before, Jay is a terrible person to confront, especially if he's in a bad mood, and that's when you really don't want to come near him. There are two outcomes; he will either ignore you, or he will snap. The latter ends rather...messily. He has an animalistic nature and has little to no control over his hunger for blood. He rarely ever lets a single being live through his rampages, so it's best to avoid him when he is given a chance to attack.
↳ Although he is a dark and sadistic person, and he seems like the tough guy in the relationship, Jay is actually the quite opposite. His heart is fragile and terrifyingly easy to manipulate. He'll give them his undivided attention if they simply ask. Whatever his beloved desires, they shall receive it, no matter the cost. He becomes a severe danger to himself. Failure of meeting expectations will cause himself to set punishments for himself, which would consist of self-starvation, removing social contact from his schedule, or even sleep. His fear for disappointing the one he cares for in such a deep way shakes him to the bone, and he will do anything to keep them happy. To him, as long as they're happy, so is he. Nothing else would matter to him. Heartbreak? Well, we don't want to go into what he'd do to himself if that ever came into his picture.

Jay would have been left alone anyways, as the man had never had a conversation with his son. He was always too busy avoiding his wife who he married because she was with child. Jay's twin sister, Elizabeth, ran away before he got the idea to off their mother. Once he left the woman to perish, Jay learned martial arts and properly handling weapons from man who pitied him.
